Shopping
 
Charlotte and surrounding areas offer some of the best shopping in the state. Here are but a few places that are our favorites.  If you do not see what you need listed here, feel free to use our active (and closed, private group) Facebook page to ask the neighborhood for recommendations.

 Grocers
 
There are many grocery stores that our residents frequent. Here is but a sample of what can be found nearby:

• The Fresh Market - A smaller market (at Providence and Sardis Road intersection), it has a nice selection and a boutique feel to it.


• Harris Teeter - The HT store in Cotswold (Randolph Road and Sharon Amity Road intersection) is located in a very popular shopping center.


• Publix - A relatively new chain in our area, this store opened in Cotswold, across Randolph from the Harris Teeter in 2018.


• Whole Foods Market - First store of the chain in the area, it is located at Sharon and Fairview Roads intersection.


• Trader Joe's - A chain that has loyal foodie fans, Charlotte has stores near us: Piper Glen and Uptown.


• Cotswold Farmer's Market - Started in 2016, this farmer's market has great vendors from the area. Located in the back parking lot of 309 S. Sharon Amity Rd, it is open from May through October, Saturdays 8 am - noon.

 
 
 Malls
 
There is no shortage of shops and stores in Charlotte and neighboring areas. From boutiques to malls to outlets to big box stores, there are many places to get what you need. Here is yet another sample of what can be found nearby:
 
South Park Mall
 
South Park Mall offers over 150 shops in an indoor mall. There are also a variety of fine shopping in shopping centers adjacent and near the mall. South Park Mall features Belk, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Tiffany & Co., kate spade new york, American Girl, Microsoft, Anthropologie, and Frontgate, to name a few. Nearby are the Container Store, Crate and Barrel, Barnes & Noble, Talbots and HomeGoods, among others.
 
 
Carolina Place Mall

Carolina Place, located near the Pineville, offers exceptional shopping, dining and entertainment in an indoor mall. There are also a variety of retail stores surrounding the mall. Carolina Place, and the surround areas, offers department stores, furniture and home decor showrooms, Christmas decorating, and much much more.
